The Alaska Joint Electrical Apprenticeship Program is a partnership between The Alaska Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association and The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1547.
We are dedicated to producing Alaska’s best trained and most qualified electrical workers.
Apprenticeship Options
The Alaska Joint Electrical Apprenticeship Training Trust offers training in several classifications of the electrical industry: Inside Wireman, Residential Wireman, Outside Power Lineman, and Telecommunications Worker (Telephone/Data).
All classifications require on-the-job training in addition to related classroom instruction.
While on the job, apprentices are paid a percentage of Journeyworker scale, depending on how many hours they have worked in the program.
Let us help you get started on an exciting and fulfilling career in the electrical industry.
