Alaska Laborers Training School – Anchorage
The Alaska Laborers/AGC training facilities are located in Chugiak and Fairbanks. The main training center is located on the Old Glenn Highway in Chugiak. This brand new site consist of over 37,000 square feet. On the first level in the south wing of the school, there is three classrooms with state of the art teaching equipment. There is also two shops that are each 4,700 sq. ft. The north wing of the first level includes single and double rooms for out of town members, laundry facilities, caregiver quarters, recreation room, a dining area for 40 people and a full service kitchen.
On the second level there is six double and four single rooms along with two instructor rooms, a technology center, a resource room, and the management offices. A mezzanine can be accessed on the second level that overlooks both shop areas.
This school has the ability to house 23 members from out of town during the training season.
The Alaska Laborers Training School is prepared to train Alaska’s Laborers to a level of excellence for many years to come.
